More summer photos

You can grow banana trees in Seattle. I covered this with a thick roll of insulation and then wrapped it over the winter. We had such a long spell of cold weather in December, that I lost a lot of plants. When I uncovered the banana it was on huge lump of slime, so I cut it all off, but the root was too big to dig up. Instead I covered it with a few inched of soil and within a week there were new shoots coming up. Now I have to continually trim off the shoots so there isn't a whole forrest of trees!!!

Ripe tomatoes in July, last year it was after Labor day before I had a singel one.

It was the coldest June on record in Seattle, and since then we have had hot sunny weather. Many things that should have been done blooming are now out in force so the entire garden looks like a threw a box of color crayons at it. Everything in every color blooming at once.
